"Greg, owner of Tire Store in Iowa, who has been buying from Certified Transmission for a long time, told me when he was leaving our plant tour that it was refreshing for him to see an owner/business that still strives for a quality product instead of "how cheap can we make it". He is referring to after market parts that all ships have to buy from parts stores, and he has seen over time the declining quality of those parts-even at the O.E. level. Greg told me that Certified is the ONLY "part" that he does not worry about when he installs it in his customer's vehicle. A/C compressors, alternators, etc, he just hopes for the best when he installs it, and it does not make a difference where he's tried to buy parts from. He had been in the plant before, but not at the informative tour level that we did today, and he was really glad he came to see all the detail and how though we are in the remanufacturing process. I have been to other transmission repair shops in Omaha and have been disappointed by the lack of attention and have found most to be rude and non-caring. In fact, one transmission shop acted like it was an imposition of even asking them to fix my transmission. He hardly looked up and then only long enough to give me the bill! It was refreshing to be treated well and then for you to be friendly, honest and extending the going beyond your duty to take me to R.& 0.
